| Type
: Cold starting, Single cylinder, vertical, water cooled,
totally enclosed, compression ignition, and four-stroke cycle
engine.
Rotation : The standard rotation is clockwise facing the flywheel. Combustion : Open type combustion chamber in an Aluminum Alloy chamber. Bearing : Main Bearing are tapper roller 32211 large end bearing are Aluminum tin alloy lined steel backed shell bushes for value rocker & small end of connecting rod are of gun metal.

FUEL SYSTEM : Fuel is supplied to fuel pump by gravity feed through a fabric filter. A button filter is also provided at the inlet of the nozzle holder.
EXHAUST SYSTEM : A pepper pot type silencer gives adequate silencing.LUBRICATION SYSTEM : Force feed by plunger type oil pump to large end, bearing and other working parts are splash lubricated Filter is provided for cleaning the engine oil.
GOVERNING : Fixed speed centrifugal governor is mounted on the camshaft gear wheel Speed variation is controlled within limits to comply with Indian standard.
BALANCING : Engine is efficiently balanced with two balance weight bolted on crankshaft Fly wheel is balanced to give smooth operation and ensure long life of wearing parts.
COOLING : Engine cooling is arranged for un through water supply as well as for radiator or cooling tank.
AIR CLEANER : Oil bath type of FR/TZ paper felt air cleaner is fitted for efficient cleaning.
STARTING : The engine is designed for starting by hand.
CYLINDER HEAD : Cast iron detachable type heavily finned to provide adequate cooling between parts. The power specified are the Indian standard continues rating and the engine performance is in accordance with the Indian Standard specification.
